In 2012, the average cost of a wedding reception rang up at $13,106. And while it’s a good bet that Property Brothers star Drew Scott won’t be holding the purse strings too tight when it comes to his upcoming nuptials, he’s making another expensive investment: renovations to the home he shares with fiancée Linda Phan.
In typical Scott brothers fashion, they’ll be chronicling the remodeling process for HGTV viewers as part of a four-part episode series, entitled Property Brothers at Home: Drew’s Honeymoon House.
Phan is no stranger to the brothers’ usual operations. After all, she’s the creative director of Scott Brothers Entertainment; loyal viewers will recognize her from previous episodes and social media posts. Now, she’ll be an integral part of this series, as Drew and brother Jonathan race against the clock to renovate the couple’s house before their wedding rehearsal dinner, set to take place at the Los Angeles home.
Scott and Phan first met at Toronto Fashion Week. They dated for six years before getting engaged in December of 2016. The series will give viewers an inside look at both the remodeling choices and at Scott’s and Phan’s relationship.
John Field, senior VP of original programming and production for HGTV, said in a statement, “HGTV fans have followed Drew and Linda’s relationship over the years and we are all more than ready to see them finally seal the deal and move into a new home. We may not get a wedding invitation but … all of us will get a front row seat to the most important renovation and reveal that the guys have ever done. Drew must deliver for Linda.”
Property Brothers at Home: Drew’s Honeymoon House is set to premiere in November.
